The scouts inevitably were sold and became the Colorado Rockies. Originally the team was supposed to be called the "Mohawks", but was asked to change the name as it sounded to similar to the Black Hawks. It's a shame that the Kansas City Scouts never took off as this logo is simply fantastic.
